BankerBall

Terms

The rules of playing here

BankerBall is free to play, for points only. No money in, no money out. By creating an account you agree to what's on this page.

Your account

One account per person. You need to be at least 13. Keep your sign-in to yourself; what happens on your account is yours.

Username changes have a 90 day cooldown and your old name shows on your profile for the rest of the season, because prediction history is a reputation. Your country locks after your first prediction locks; it decides which national table you compete in.

Fair play

The game only works if the table is honest. Not allowed: multiple accounts, bots or scripted play, referral fraud, or coordinating accounts to farm points. The admin can void points, revoke referral bonuses and close accounts for any of it. Once prizes exist after the beta, this gets enforced harder, not softer.

Predictions and results

Predictions lock 5 minutes before kickoff, enforced on the server. Locked means locked; no exceptions, including for us.

Results and points follow the rules page. Scores come from our data provider; if the provider corrects a result within about two hours of full time, we re-settle the match and the standings move accordingly. Postponed, cancelled and void matches score zero for everyone and refund bankers. The data-is-final policy on the rules page covers the edge cases.

What you write

Forum posts, guestbook entries and bios are yours, but keep them legal and civil: no harassment, hate, spam or advertising. New forum threads wait for admin approval. We can remove content and lock threads; profile owners can delete guestbook entries on their own wall.

Beta means beta

The game is in open beta. Features change, scoring rules can be tuned between rounds (never mid-round), and we may need maintenance windows. We run it with care but promise no uptime and accept no liability for a missed lock because your bus had no signal. A final version with prizes comes later, under its own terms.

Ending things

You can delete your account whenever you want (see privacy). We can suspend accounts that break these terms; we'll say why.

These terms may change as the beta grows up. Real changes get announced on the site, not slipped in.
